Coconut water a beauty drink
While Coconut water has always been available in large numbers and choices in tropical countries, it’s not so common yet or still upcoming in other countries. The drink is very popular amongst celebs in Hollywood and as a ‘beauty drink’ and very often associated with health and sports. But what benefits does the water bring that makes it surrounded by this hype?
The water is known for the following health benefits:

It contains multiple vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. The primary nutrients in the water is potassium which makes the beverage highly electrolyte. So it seems like the drink is super healthy, however it’s not a good drink for everyone. People with a kidney disease shouldn’t drink much coconut water or maybe even avoid it because of the high potassium.
Also there are a lot of brands that try to add more ‘flavor’ to the coconut water, which makes it less and less healthy because of the added sweeteners. Furthermore there are some that cover up they’ve been using mature coconuts instead of the more nourishing younger coconuts. So those are all elements to keep in mind when purchasing coconut water when looking for a healthy beverage.
